A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MEDICAL BILLER

As a Medical Biller at Sceptre, you are determined to ensure that our clients receive their full reimbursements which provide them with the means to continue providing exceptional patient care. You are involved from start to finish in the claims process.

You spend part of your day on data entry. You enter demographics, submit charges, and input corrections, as well as post payments. You love making sure that everything is accurate and up-to-date. Additionally, you get to spend part of your time as an investigator handling denials and following up on accounts receivable. You also have the opportunity to use your excellent communication skills on phone calls and in emails with insurance companies and clients.

You are always brushing up your skills and attend trainings regularly. Your up-to-date expertise helps us stay compliant with ever-changing billing regulations. You love working in this fast-paced, professional, and friendly work environment - and find your job fulfilling!

QUALIFICATIONS

* Medical billing knowledge/experience
* Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid billing
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
