Franklin Fitch is seeking a Senior Client Technology Management Engineer to serve as a direct point of contact for clients, addressing their business needs through technology. The role involves providing guidance on complex architectural challenges and improving client platforms through tailored technology solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Address ongoing issues and provide solutions that improve client platforms
  • Work directly with client approvers to identify technical pain points and resolve them through existing or new technologies
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on escalated issues in a timely manner
  • Take ownership of pending issues through resolution
  • Tailor technology solutions to meet client-specific business requirements
  • Perform root cause analysis of systemic issues
  • Evaluate and deliver 3rd-party software integrations not currently resold or supported
  • Collaborate with other senior engineering and cloud architecture team members to deliver client solutions
  • Identify recurring client requests as potential product or platform enhancement opportunities

Skills

  • Must have 3–4 years in a client-facing technology role
  • Must have 5–10 years in a systems engineering role
  • Must have experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) in previous roles
  • Ability to articulate complex technologies to a broad audience
  • Experience delivering customized technology solutions for clients
  • Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to occasionally work nights and weekends
  • Broad background in IT infrastructure
  • Strong technical expertise with public cloud platforms (especially Office 365 and Azure)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory
  • Ability to work Eastern Standard Time hours
  • Experience with Exchange Online preferred
  • Experience in the financial sector a plus
  • Relevant certifications (MCSE, MCAA, VCP, CCP) preferred
