About the Role

The Senior Manager of Organization, Contract, and Leisure Sales plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and ensuring the financial and operational health of our sales portfolio. As a team leader, you'll be responsible for guiding a diverse group of professionals, fostering an inclusive work environment, and making strategic decisions that propel our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team with diverse backgrounds, styles, and experiences, promoting a culture of inclusivity and excellence.
  • Oversee the financial and operational integrity of the Organization, Groups, Contract, and Leisure Sales portfolio, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and develop new and existing business opportunities to maximize revenue in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Monitor revenue, commissions, and contract performance to ensure income is maximized and business goals are met.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to implement targeted promotions and drive revenue.
  • Provide timely insights and recommendations to internal leadership and stakeholders regarding our competitive position in the market.
  • Develop and execute sales plans aligned with sales targets for corporate, groups, contracts, discount, and consolidator business.
  • Manage pricing, cost analysis, and negotiations to achieve the best possible return in individual markets, working closely with legal and risk management teams.
  • Build strategic business relationships with client accounts to identify new business opportunities.
  • Evaluate, approve, and execute marketing-related promotions to support sales efforts, coordinating closely with marketing and business loyalty teams.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience, with some of this experience directly managing teams.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a proven track record of driving measurable outcomes.
  • The ability to travel up to 20% of the time to meet with clients and direct reports.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not mandatory, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience in the airline industry.
  • Proficiency in database and CRM (Salesforce.com or similar) management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to drive results across the organization.
