Monks is a global digital marketing agency seeking to expand its creative services by hiring a Senior Digital Designer on a freelance basis. The role involves concepting and designing digital advertising assets for various platforms, collaborating with media buying teams and clients to create effective performance-driven designs.


Responsibilities

  • You’ll be responsible for concepting and designing post-production paid media ads for digital channels (including but not limited to Facebook, Google, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) both net-new and from existing client materials.
  • Concepting and designing Direct Response-focused design assets for paid platforms (Facebook, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), both net-new and from existing client materials.
  • Creating proposals, sketches and mockups to kickstart new projects and win pitches.
  • Aligning to client style guides in digital asset creation.
  • Knowledge and application of paid media platform design best practices.

Skills

  • 4-6 years technical experience with paid media ad design, preferably at a performance-focused agency
  • Portfolio is required
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • 4 year college degree (preferably in design) or equivalent work experience
  • B2C and B2B experience
  • Experience using Gen AI tools for ad builds and concepting
  • Familiarity with Google suite
  • Figma, Asana, Frame.io experience
